TEACHING STYLE
High-energy rhythm riding that’s all about having fun while pushing. I sprinkle in a variety of choreo and waves of intensity. My goal is to create an environment where anyone - at any level, feels comfortable while challenging themselves - and who knows, maybe we’ll even laugh a little!
QUALIFICATIONS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Spin Instructor Teaching Certificate and a PhD in Structural Engineering.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN MY CLASS
Expect an experience that helps us forget we’re working out. Life starts at the edge of your comfort zone though - so of course, we’ll be challenging ourselves! Expect songs you love, well-curated pushes, and dance moves that aren’t too complex, but super satisfying to hit together in unison! (yes, we will be clapping)
HOW I GOT INTO FITNESS
I always loved sports and skateboarding. Fitness was a struggle until I was dragged to a Ride class at S&T. My first class, I liked. My second class was fun. And by my third class, I was obsessed.
FAVORITE WAY TO SWEAT
Skateboarding and of course, rhythm-style Ride classes. Also, pickleball!
FUN FACT
I was an Adjunct Professor at Queen’s University in the Civil Engineering department. Now I teach something slightly more important: Ride.
MUSIC YOU’LL SWEAT TO
I play a variety of music - Pop, Hip-Hop, EDM, Punk, Country, Rock, and even Musicals. From Fred again.. to Drake, Taylor Swift, and Blink-182. I’ll play whatever it takes to bring the energy we need for an unforgettable ride. Yes, that might even be Frozen’s Let It Go.
