Vibrant, intentional, and spicy! As your leader through class, I will constantly be encouraging you to straddle the line of self-compassion and mindful movement while pushing a new edge. My goal is to leave whatever room we are in sweatier and stronger than we came in, with smiles on our faces.

44+ years experience in group fitness instruction, BlissBarre Training Certification 2019, Cyclone Spin Instructor Training 2021, 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India 2022, Continuing Education YTT Hours (36+), Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Waterloo 2021, Master’s of Social Work at U of T 2024
WHAT TO EXPECT IN MY CLASS
Be prepared to let go of anything from your day that came into the room with you. In the ride room, we will turn the music up loud and the lights down low, and push ourselves to a physical edge while singing our hearts out. In the hot room, expect a sweaty, high-energy, intentional mix of strength and smiles. Music is key in getting us through class. HOW I GOT INTO FITNESS
In high school, I experienced a pretty challenging bout of anxiety that left me frantically searching for a way to cope. Thankfully, I was introduced to the practice of yoga and it was like an entirely new world opened up to me. After that, I sought out opportunities to become more involved in different movement communities, and finally started teaching group fitness classes in 2019. Needless to say, I was entirely hooked and could not get enough movement or community practice!
FAVOURITE WAY TO SWEAT
I am always searching for new ways to move, but my go-to classes are always ride, Pilates, or hot yoga. Otherwise, I enjoy lifting some heavy weights and getting in touch with my strength at the gym.
